Sun SparcStation 4.

	


	This SparcStation 4 has a 110MHz processor. Originally it 
was one of the apache web-servers here,  but it's now one of the DNS 
servers for the internal network.  
	It's due to be replaced soon by a faster,  more recent machine.
One with more memory and more hard-disc capacity.  This system has been 
used here for the last three years or so, and now requires a replacement 
NV-RAM.  
	The NV-Ram chips on these, and other sun systems have a finite 
life-span. (usually 8-12 years)  They are however quite easy to replace
and re-program. I make a note of the Ethernet address, HostID and the
Serial Number inside the system just in case I need them at a later date!
